Ruth teaches a range of academic writing subjects in the Faculties of Law, Creative Arts and Arts at the University of Wollongong. She was a recipient of an ALTC citation in 2008 'For sustained work to collaboratively integrate contextualised academic integrity into curricula', and has been involved in the transnational delivery of BA programs to Hong Kong. Ms. Ursula McGowan
Ursula is the Deputy Director of the Centre for Learning and Professional Development at the University of Adelaide. She is responsible for academic staff development including the academic induction of sessional staff and the coordination of a university-wide cultural awareness program. She is bilingual (German-English) and is experienced in issues for international and other students from language backgrounds other than English. Her current publications have focussed on strategies for assisting academic language development for international students with a view to minimising their inadvertent plagiarism. Ursula's home page.

Dr Helen Marsden
Helen was the Founding Chair of APFEI and convened the first conference in 2003. She and Tracey Bretag were also founding co-editors of the International Journal for Educational Integrity. Helen’s doctoral research was an exploration of the correlates of dishonest academic behaviours of students in Australian universities. Since 2006 she has been employed by the Commonwealth Department of Education, but maintains a strong interest in matters of educational integrity.
Bronwyn is a Senior Lecturer in Learning Development at the University of Wollongong, and the NSW representative for the Association of Academic Language and Learning (AALL).
